Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer (Remote) to lead statistical programming for multiple pharmaceutical client programs. You will deliver SDTM/ADaM datasets, create complex tables and figures, and ensure regulatory-ready submissions.

The role requires deep SAS expertise, CDISC standards mastery, and the ability to oversee CRO work while maintaining high-quality, timely outputs. Strong independence and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics (preferred).
• 7+ years as Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma Clinical Development or similar.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills in a clinical development environment.
• Extensive experience with CDISC SDTM/ADaM/Define.xml, medical terminology, and FDA/ICH regulations.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interaction with FDA/global authorities.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specs, datasets, reviewer’s guides and define.xml for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to generate datasets, listings, tables and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R programs for clinical development programs.
• Oversee CRO programmers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Support clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, DSURs and exploratory analyses.
• Follow FDA regulations and GCP for electronic submissions.
• Contribute to standards for programming tools, outputs and macros.
• Develop CRFs, edit checks, data validation plans, and data transfer specs.
