AngloGold Ashanti in Johannesburg seeks a Principal Project Processing Engineer to lead metallurgical discipline within the Global Projects function, driving technical assurance, ore characterisation and lean engineering from concept through to execution.
You will review critical deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, mass and water balances), manage metallurgical testwork, optimise designs and govern EPCM interfaces, with strong focus on safety reviews.

Acts as the metallurgical and process engineering discipline authority within the Global Projects function, reporting directly to the Engineering Director. The role drives technical assurance, ore characterisation, and lean engineering practices across major Organic Growth projects from Concept through to Execution.
