About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Mine Ventilation Engineer to join their esteemed team in Polokwane, Limpopo . This senior role is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of mine ventilation systems for deep-level underground mines. You will lead ventilation planning, ensure compliance with stringent health and safety standards, manage airflow, and control environmental conditions such as temperature and dust. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. This is a critical position contributing to the safety and productivity of our mining operations in the resource-rich Limpopo province.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive mine ventilation strategies and designs for underground operations.
• Conduct detailed airflow modelling and simulations using specialized software (e.g., Ventsim, Sirocco).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant mine health, safety, and environmental ventilation regulations.
