About the Role
Our client, a prominent resource exploration firm with operations in the Nelspruit region, is seeking an accomplished Principal Geologist to lead their structural geology and mapping initiatives. This senior position requires deep expertise in deciphering complex geological structures, understanding their impact on mineralization, and translating this knowledge into actionable exploration strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing advanced structural mapping programs, performing detailed kinematic and dynamic analyses, and integrating findings into 3D geological models. Based within the Mpumalanga province, this role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse geological terrains and contribute to the discovery of significant mineral deposits. We seek a highly analytical geologist with a passion for fieldwork, a strong publication record, and the ability to mentor junior geological staff. The Nelspruit location provides a strategic base for exploration activities across the region.
