You will lead design and project deliverables, liaise with municipalities and stakeholders, prepare reports and tender documentation, and ensure compliance with standards while working both independently and in a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• BEng / BSc Eng degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng is essential.
• Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience.
• Proven experience in municipal infrastructure.
• Strong technical design and project management capabilities.
• Experience working with municipal clients and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional engineering services on municipal infrastructure projects.
• Lead and manage engineering design and project deliverables.
• Develop practical and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare and review technical reports, designs, specifications and tender documentation.
• Liaise with municipalities, clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project implementation.
• Ensure engineering work complies with relevant standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and technical deliverables.
