Kabstrading Co in Richards Bay seeks a skilled welder/fabricator to manufacture gates and related steel products to approved specs. You will read drawings and job cards, measure, cut, fit and weld closely to requirements.

Responsibilities include fabricating fencing components, brackets, and razor wire supports, performing MIG welding, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe, orderly operations in a busy shop.

Responsabilités

• Manufacture and fabricate gates to approved dimensions, specifications and job requirements.
• Fabricate fencing components, brackets, supports and related steelwork.
• Manufacture razor wire brackets and associated security-fencing components.
• Perform general MIG welding and steel fabrication.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit and assemble steel accurately.
• Read and work from measurements, sketches, job cards and production instructions.
• Check finished work for alignment, weld quality, dimensions and overall workmanship.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools and a safe, orderly fabrication work area.
• Assist with other steel-work manufacturing requirements as operationally required.
