Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Packaging Operator in Gauteng to assist with packing finished goods and ensuring displays meet daily requirements. You will check expiry dates, remove damaged stock, and report any damages or shortages to the Production Supervisor.

The role requires good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. As part of the production team, you will maintain a clean work area, sweep and dust machinery, and handle damaged sachets as directed.

Responsibilities

• Checks that sufficient displays are available for the day’s packing.
• Reports product / display damages and shortages to Production Supervisor
• Pack according to specifications
• Remove damaged sachets from the line
• Check that the dates on the sachets and displays correspond
• Check that the dates on sachets are correct
• Pick up empty sachets
• Sweep work area
• Dusts machines
• Take damaged sachets to Scrap Area
