Job summary

Pelebox, based in Johannesburg, seeks a Product Assembler to manufacture PelePoint units and related products safely, accurately and consistently.

You will complete defined assembly, wiring, testing, packaging and dispatch-readiness activities in line with drawings, BOMs, SOPs and quality standards. This is a hands-on, factory-based role reporting to Operations Manager, with a 24-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with assembly and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow drawings, BOMs, SOPs and quality standards.
• Willingness to work in a factory environment and report defects early.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily and weekly production plan, priorities and targets.
• Ensure latest drawings, BOMs, SOPs and work instructions are available before starting.
• Prepare workstation, collect components and tools, and verify parts before assembly.
• Record work started/completed, delays and defects in planning records.
• Meet production targets while prioritising safety, quality and traceability.
