Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Precision Mechanical Assembler for our client in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. You will assemble complex, high-tolerance components, following detailed instructions and blueprints to exact specifications.

Responsibilities include using small hand tools, measuring devices, and specialized equipment, performing quality checks, and collaborating with engineers to drive improvements. A hands-on, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in precision mechanical assembly requiring fine motor skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with small hand tools, measuring devices and assembly equipment.
• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures precisely.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Based in or able to commute to Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities
