Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Equipment Installer or similar mechanical assembly role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with tools and equipment used in industrial installations.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in an industrial environment.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• A relevant trade qualification (e.g., mechanical fitter, millwright) is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as project demands require.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission a wide variety of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide installation procedures.
• Ensure all installations comply with engineering specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Perform alignment, calibration, and testing of installed equipment to verify operational integrity.
• Connect equipment to power, water, and compressed air supply lines, as required.
• Assist in the dismantling and relocation of industrial machinery as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues, collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate records of installation progress, materials used, and any encountered challenges.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and the use of PPE.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
