Our client is seeking a dedicated and highly proficient Industrial Equipment Installation Specialist to join their operations in Rustenburg, North West. This role is central to ensuring the successful and safe installation of a wide range of heavy industrial machinery and equipment across various manufacturing and mining sites. You will be responsible for meticulous planning, precise assembly, alignment, and initial setup of complex machinery, adhering strictly to technical specifications and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and commission heavy industrial machinery and equipment according to engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform precise alignment, calibration, and testing of installed equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret complex technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics for installation procedures.
• Adhere strictly to all site-specific safety regulations, permits, and procedures.
• Identify and resolve any installation-related issues or discrepancies during the setup process.
• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and other trade professionals to coordinate installation activities.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and assist in the initial run-in and testing of new installations.
• Maintain detailed logs of installation progress, materials used, and any encountered challenges or modifications.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are handled safely and efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members on site.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in the installation of heavy industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent precision fitting and assembly skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and rigging equipment.
