Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking a motivated precision engineering technician in South Africa to operate lathes, milling machines and CNC machinery, and to contribute to steel component manufacturing.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing measurements, and maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in turning / machining.
• Ability to operate CNC and conventional machinery.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, milling machines, CNC machinery and other workshop equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Perform measurements and calculations accurately.
• Assist in precision engineering and steel component manufacturing.
• Assist with general workshop and manufacturing tasks.
• Produce quality work efficiently and to precise tolerances.
