Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a qualified individual for a logistics-focused role in Kariega, South Africa. The candidate will coordinate cross-divisional meetings and manage special component orders to ensure optimal production transitions. Responsibilities also include maintaining stock levels and preparing reports.

A degree in engineering or related fields is required, along with at least 3 years’ experience in an automotive logistics environment. Familiarity with SAP and Power BI is essential, along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Production Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Logistics, Transport, Information Technology/Systems, or Data Science.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the automotive industry in a Logistics environment.
• Project Management Experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-divisional commodity meetings to address risks/problems.
• Manage special component orders to introduce changes into production.
• Ensure call-off demands are accurately reflected and approved.
• Manage pre-series stock levels to prevent overstock.
• Monitor pre-series vehicle requests for accuracy.
• Compile picking lists and coordinate pre-series vehicle builds.
• Maintain pre-series databases regarding component readiness.
• Evaluate and approve impacts of Aekos and Running Changes.
• Investigate and source components for accuracy of BOM.
