Job summary

Medipost is seeking a Pre-Dispensing Assistant for the Chronic Dispensing Unit in the Western Cape. The role involves prepacking medicines, book-keeping of batches, and ensuring compliance with SOPs to support safe patient regimens.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months’ experience in a pharmacy, is SAPC registered, and proficient in Excel. Training is provided, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Learner Basic qualification.
• 6 months in a Pharmacy environment.
• On the job training provided.
• Excel proficiency required.
• SAPC Registration.

Responsibilities

• Verify batch, quantity, product and label during prepacking.
• Repack original products into pre-packs per SOPs.
• Handle high/medium/low-volume prepacking tasks.
• Count and pack pre-packs into labeled containers.
• Assist in fine-picking and verification on FCDs.
• Maintain logs for salvaged medicines and broken packs.
