About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Power Plant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a significant energy generation facility in Kimberley. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance, managing operational budgets, and leading a team of engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power plant operations, a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance, and exceptional leadership and management capabilities. This is a critical on-site position vital to maintaining consistent energy supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all aspects of power plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and performance standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage operational budgets, controlling costs while maintaining efficiency.
• Lead, train, and mentor plant operations personnel, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure asset reliability.
• Monitor plant performance metrics, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements
