Job summary

Santam Client Solutions is hiring a BI Analyst–Developer based in either Cape Town or Johannesburg. You will support business stakeholders daily and design scalable Power BI reporting solutions to drive insight and decision-making.

Embedded in a growing BI team, you will translate requirements into dashboards and dataflows, migrate legacy Excel reports to automated Power BI assets, and help maintain governance across the BI environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Stats, Commerce, or related field.
• 3+ years of BI or analytics experience in a business-facing environment.
• Advantageous: Short-term insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business needs.
• Build dataflows and transform data using Power Query (M) and DAX.
• Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and follows BI governance standards.
• Help migrate existing Excel-based reports into automated, scalable Power BI assets.
• Participate in peer reviews and team-based development work.
