Job summary

PM Connection is looking for an Intermediate Project Manager in Sandton, South Africa. The ideal candidate will lead and manage point-of-sale (POS) development projects in a dynamic fintech setting. Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, managing JIRA workflows, and ensuring stakeholder engagement. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, along with 4–7 years of project management experience in software or POS environments. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies is essential, and experience in fintech or retail systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in project management within software or POS development environments.
• Proven experience managing Agile/Kanban delivery projects.
• Experience managing small teams or delivery squads.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of POS development projects.
• Maintain and manage Kanban workflows and JIRA boards.
• Coordinate planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
• Ensure quality and completeness of BRS and SOW documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
