Job summary

Guardrisk is seeking a qualified CA with 3–5 years’ accounting experience to manage the accounting function for cell captive and contingency policy clients, including accurate processing of financial information, reporting, and monthly/year-end reconciliations.

You will build relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensure timely payments and reporting, meet deadlines, and contribute to audit readiness and process improvements in line with industry, statutory, and insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Financial Management / Accounting.
• Completed Accounting Articles.
• Qualified CA.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Accounting in a similar role.
• Good understanding of industry, statutory and insurance law.

Responsibilities

• Accurately control and process financial information and prepare financial reports and analysis.
• Manage the accounting function for Guardrisk Insurance cell captive & contingency policy clients (by portfolio of clients allocated).
• Prepare and review financial transactions and reporting of each client within their portfolio of clients.
• Compile and prepare monthly and year end reconciliations of their portfolio of clients.
• Identify and report respective accounting or reporting issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Meet company and client accounting, payment and reporting deadlines.
• Contribute to the audit process and resolve any audit queries within the deadlines set.
