Placements24 is seeking an experienced Sanitation Operations Manager to oversee and optimize cleaning and sanitation services in Polokwane. You will lead a team, enforce hygiene protocols, and drive improvements across facilities to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sanitation management or supervision.
• Solid understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.

• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Physical capability to perform inspections and hands-on tasks.
• Experience in Polokwane or Limpopo province is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all daily sanitation activities to ensure a high level of cleanliness.
• Lead, train, and supervise the sanitation team, fostering a productive and safety-conscious work environment.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and SOPs.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock and proper usage.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any hygiene or sanitation issues.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff performance, and supply expenditures.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet specific cleaning and sanitation requirements.
• Manage and maintain cleaning equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and properly stored.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in sanitation operations.
