Placements24 is actively seeking a strategic Category Manager to oversee FMCG product categories in Polokwane. You will craft category strategies, manage assortment, pricing and promotions, and work with suppliers to ensure product availability and profitability.

You will analyze market trends and sales data to uncover growth opportunities, collaborating with sales and marketing to boost performance and brand visibility across the Limpopo region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar in FMCG.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies, including assortment planning, pricing, and promotions.
• Analyze sales data, market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, ensure timely product availability.
