Placements24 seeks a passionate Advocacy Officer to join our client’s team in Sandton. The role focuses on developing and implementing strategies to influence policy and raise public awareness on critical social issues, championing the organization’s cause, and engaging with stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

The position operates in a hybrid setup with essential in-person engagements with community leaders and policymakers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in advocacy, public policy, or a related field, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.

Responsibilities
