The Commission for Gender Equality in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, offers a Public Education & Information Internship aimed at promoting gender equality through public education and community engagement. Interns will develop and deliver educational content, conduct workshops, and support campaigns to raise awareness and drive social impact.

As part of the program, you will assist in financial reporting, budgeting, and tracking expenses, while engaging with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• MA degree in Social Sciences or behavioral sciences is required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with willingness to travel nationwide for research.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Assist in managing and tracking expenses and revenue.
• Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy.
• Help process invoices, payments and receipts.
• Assist in monitoring financial transactions to ensure regulatory compliance.
