Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized Graduate Trainee to join the PMO in Soweto. You will learn the fundamentals of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting, while supporting the PMO to deliver on time, within scope, and on budget.

You will gain exposure to a variety of projects, receive comprehensive training in project management tools and techniques, and benefit from mentorship from experienced project managers within a dynamic Gauteng environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/administration/IT or related field.
• Interest in project management methodologies and best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to the PMO and project teams.
• Help manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support the organization and execution of project meetings.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of PMO processes and templates.
