Job summary

RecruitUp Global is seeking an experienced Trade Tested Plumber in Mackay, Queensland to service and install solar, electric, and gas hot water systems for residential and commercial clients. You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and ensure work meets Australian standards.

Minimum 5 years post-trade experience with strong English communication and a valid driver’s licence. A company vehicle is provided where applicable and ongoing training is offered.

Qualifications

• Trade Tested / Red Seal plumber with at least 5 years post-trade experience.
• Experience with hot water systems is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills and a valid driver’s licence.

Introduction

Our client, a well-established plumbing and hot water specialist in Mackay, Queensland, is looking for an experienced Trade Tested Plumber to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber with experience in residential and commercial plumbing, particularly in hot water systems, maintenance and installations. Experience with solar hot water systems is advantageous; however, plumbers with strong hot water and maintenance experience who are eager to develop their skills are encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair solar hot water systems
• Install and maintain electric and gas hot water systems
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults
• Carry out maintenance plumbing for residential and commercial clients
• Install water, sewer and drainage systems
• Ensure all work complies with Australian plumbing standards
• Provide professional customer service on-site

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience Required

Experience in one or more of the following will be highly regarded:

• Solar hot water systems
• Electric and gas hot water systems
• Residential plumbing
• Commercial plumbing
• Maintenance plumbing
• Water supply and drainage

• General plumbing maintenance

Minimum Requirements

Trade Tested / Red Seal Plumber

Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience

Australian Skills Assessment completed or willing to complete one

Package & Remuneration

Salary: AUD $95,000 – $115,000 per annum (depending on experience)
