Sun Plumbing in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Apprentice Plumber to assist with residential, commercial and light industrial projects. You will help with piping, fittings, and fixtures, read blueprints, and learn safety codes while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 yrs. apprentice experience.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug test.
• Ability to handle physical work load

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling, installing, maintaining and pressure testing all pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Assist in installation of plumbing equipment and fixtures such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, appliances and trim.
• Install underground sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures to these systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle.
• Ability to learn how to perform all phases of plumbing including piping, 2nd roughs, tub sets and trim.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and installation locations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as well as plumbing code.
