Job summary

Communicate Finance in South Africa is seeking an experienced automation engineer to develop software from scratch using Siemens, TIA Portal, and Allen-Bradley. You will design SCADA with Siemens WinCC, perform hardware configuration, and interpret electrical drawings to integrate systems and machines.

Candidates should have at least five years in industrial automation, strong PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, and exposure to robotic systems (Yaskawa, Fanuc, KUKA).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' of experience in industrial automation or service industry.
• Skilled in PLC programming, HMI & SCADA design.
• Experience with robot systems (Yaskawa, Fanuc, KUKA) is highly advantageous.
• Valid driver's license.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Thrives under pressure.
