Job summary

Beaver Migration and Recruitment is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Engineer to join a Belgium-based food manufacturing site. You will maintain and repair complex packaging machinery, diagnose faults, and implement improvements using advanced PLC knowledge.

The role starts with day shifts during training, then transitions to a two-shift system (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00). Relocation support, housing, and comprehensive benefits are offered to assist international onboarding.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification in Mechanics/Electromechanics (A1/A2) or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial production machinery.
• Advanced PLC knowledge and troubleshooting experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex packaging machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults and implement fixes.
• Apply PLC knowledge to troubleshoot automated production equipment.
• Investigate recurring breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.
• Set up and optimise machinery to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure maintenance complies with safety and quality standards.
