Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Millwright, Electromechanics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and frequency drives.
• Solid understanding of industrial production machinery and automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and proactive, independent teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery and installations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automation faults.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.
• Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, and VFDs.
• Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and efficiency.
• Record maintenance activities and complete technical documentation.
• Work with production and engineering teams to optimise plant performance.
• Maintain high safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
