Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an IT Executive to act as Platform Owner, shaping roadmaps and continual improvement for the IT platform and its domains. You will oversee Platform Engineering, ensuring business alignment and non-functional performance, and drive incident resolution to protect operations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage platform initiatives, and engage stakeholders to secure adoption of standards and governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years enterprise-level software delivery experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing agile delivery teams.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing operations.
• Financial services experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to development and operations teams to ensure availability and operability of all applications.
• Manage service across platforms, channels, and services to ensure availability and performance.
• Proactively identify platform enhancements, lead business case approvals, and communicate roadmaps.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define, drive, and adopt platform principles, standards, and governance.
• Align with current and emerging company strategy and business plans for the platform.
• Share knowledge to support IT change in the business.
• Contribute to concept documents, business cases, and ROI proposals for infrastructure improvements.
• Review and approve estimation and impact assessments for capacity and capability planning.
• Define target IT Operations model and govern its transformation.
