• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Carry out installations of new mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and fitting tasks as required for repairs and modifications.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including parts used and time taken.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company safety procedures and regulations.
• Operate machine tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in using fitting tools, welding equipment, and basic machining tools.
• Understanding of safety procedures and practices in an industrial setting.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including lifting and working in various positions.
