Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at a manufacturing facility in Welkom, South Africa. You will oversee production, maintenance, logistics, safety, and budget management to meet production, quality, and financial targets.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 10+ years in manufacturing management with at least 5 years in a Plant Manager role, and a proven track record with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, plus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead all operational aspects of their manufacturing facility in Welkom . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, ensuring safety, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. You will be the key leader on-site, responsible for the performance and development of the entire plant team. This is a critical position that requires strong strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes to ensure the plant meets its production, quality, and financial targets.
