About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Plant Manager to lead their manufacturing facility, operating remotely with oversight across operations. This senior leadership position is responsible for the overall management of plant operations, including production, safety, quality, finance, and human resources, ensuring strategic goals are met with exceptional efficiency. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, strategic planning capabilities, and a proven ability to drive profitability and growth within a complex industrial environment. This is a pivotal remote leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.


• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.


• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards and environmental regulations.


• Manage the plant budget effectively, controlling expenditures and optimizing resource allocation.


• Lead, mentor, and develop the plant's management team and workforce to foster a high-performance culture.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.


• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a Plant Manager role.


• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations and P&L responsibility.


• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.


• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and operational excellence principles.


• Experience managing remote teams and operations is highly advantageous.
