Job summary

Staff Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee reactive, preventive, and predictive maintenance across plant and equipment. You will coordinate maintenance activities, lead fault diagnosis, approve job cards, and manage permits while ensuring safety and housekeeping standards are upheld.

You will also supervise staff, develop performance plans, coordinate shutdowns, and liaise with management to control costs and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Certificate in a Technical or Maintenance-related discipline (NQF 5).
• Trade Test (NQF 5).
• Certificate in First Line Management (FLMP) (NQF 5).
• A Diploma in a Technical or Maintenance-related discipline (NQF 6) will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reactive, predictive, and preventative maintenance across plant and equipment.
• Coordinate first-line maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
• Lead fault diagnosis and root cause analysis (5 WHY, 8D).
• Approve job cards and manage permits.
• Coordinate plant shutdowns and report to management.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met.
• Submit maintenance reports to Engineering Maintenance Manager.
