PPC Recruitment is seeking a Senior Plant Instrumentation Technician for a hybrid role in Polokwane, Limpopo. The role focuses on installation, calibration, maintenance and repair of complex instrumentation and control systems critical for process reliability and safety.

You will diagnose faults, work with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA, and interpret P&IDs to ensure accurate instrumentation performance while contributing to preventative maintenance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior Instrumentation Technician with extensive field experience in industrial instrumentation systems.
• Experience with calibration, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of instruments in mining/processing environments.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics and work with PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.

Responsabilités

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair industrial instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors.
• Troubleshoot faults in instrumentation and control systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Work with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems to ensure reliability and safety of processes.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics to plan and execute installations and maintenance tasks.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance schedules and detailed documentation of instrumentation assets.
