Job summary

Network Finance is recruiting a seasoned Management Accountant to lead plant costing, BOM management, and budgeting at our Gauteng operation. You will prepare monthly management accounts, monitor WIP and variances, and drive cost optimization across finance and operations.

You will partner with plant management, analyse data for trends and risks, ensure internal controls, and support strategic initiatives to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
• Minimum 5 years in Management Accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing or plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of BOM management, budgeting, forecasting, and WIP analysis.
• Solid understanding of costing, inventory, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships across finance and operations.
• Proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee plant costing activities with accurate reporting.
• Maintain BOM structures and costing models.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the plant.
• Monitor and report on WIP, inventory, and manufacturing variances.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and plant performance reports.
• Provide meaningful cost analysis and recommendations to improve profitability.
• Partner with plant management and operations to support business objectives.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within finance and operations.
