Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Manager for a well-established FMCG manufacturer in the Western Cape. You will partner with plant operations and executive leadership to deliver actionable financial insights that drive profitability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a BCom Honours or equivalent, is CA(SA)/CIMA-advantageous, and at least five years in manufacturing. You will lead costing, inventory control, and manufacturing reporting with strong Excel and Syspro ERP

Qualifications

BCom Honours in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA(SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification advantageous.
Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing or factory environment.

Responsibilities

Partner with plant and operational management to provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
Prepare and present monthly management accounts, operational reports, and performance analysis.
Analyse manufacturing KPIs, production efficiencies, inventory performance, and key cost drivers.
Monitor stock levels, wastage, fuel consumption, and factory expenditure against budgets and targets.
Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable business recommendations.
Drive costing accuracy and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
Evaluate capital expenditure projects and prepare supporting business cases.
Oversee month-end reporting, manufacturing provisions, and financial controls.
Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving profitability, productivity, and operational performance.
