Job summary

Envision Energy is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to plan, manage and optimize scheduling across a portfolio of major projects. The role requires expert Primavera P6 usage, CPM scheduling, and strong English communication to support project cost control and performance improvements.

With a background in engineering or construction and at least five years in scheduling controls, you will mentor junior staff and liaise with vendors and operations to ensure the master schedule aligns with

Qualifications

• Strong skills in schedule planning, duration estimating, CPM scheduling, and schedule analysis.
• Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Graduate degree in Engineering or Construction.
• Minimum 5 years in project management and scheduling controls.

Job description

1. Plan and implement project scheduling resources, processes and systems on a portfolio of major projects. This includes working with other team members within operations and external vendor firms to develop, support and maintain the project execution schedule within the overall Master schedule
2. Assist the PM in transferring learning from project implementation to the improvement of project performance
3. Develop and maintain Primavera schedule, user profiles and security levels
4. Provide training to junior staff and P6 users Ensure that project schedule decisions can be made based upon accurate and timely schedule and progress performance information
5. Responsible to the Project Director for the area of project cost controls on assigned major projects
6. Other duties necessary for implementation of the job role within the project portfolio

Job Requirements:

1. Strong skills in schedule planning, activity duration estimating, critical path method (CPM) schedule preparation, schedule analysis, schedule system application and construction scheduling
2. Advanced skills and knowledge in Primavera P6, ideally with implementation experience and project setup experience.
3. Good understanding of the areas of estimating, cost control and overall project and construction management
4. Skill and knowledge of overall project implementation management processes
5. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, both verbally and written.
6. Developed critical and conceptual thinking skills.
7. A graduate degree in an Engineering, Construction
8. Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and scheduling controls roles is required.
9. Experience in wind industry is a big plus.
