Job summary

Execustaff in Rustenburg is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to develop, maintain and monitor schedules for engineering and fabrication projects.

You will coordinate production, procurement, engineering and other departments, track resources and report progress to management.

The role requires 3–5 years' planning experience in steel fabrication, construction or mining, and strong MS Excel and MS Projects skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Production Management or related field.
• Planning/Scheduling qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and monitor project/workshop schedules.
• Coordinate activities across production, procurement, engineering, projects and other departments.
• Monitor progress against planned schedules and identify delays or potential risks.
• Track manpower, materials, equipment and other resources required to meet deadlines.
• Update schedules and provide accurate progress reports to management.
• Identify schedule deviations and assist with recovery plans.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables and critical deadlines.
• Attend planning and progress meetings.
• Maintain accurate planning records and documentation.
• Liaise with supervisors, project managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure activities remain on schedule.
