Job summary

Glencore's Rhovan, Engineering Services in Brits, Northwest invites applications for a Senior Planner (Maintenance). You will capture and maintain maintenance plans, update SAP task lists, and plan shutdowns, ensuring a robust maintenance program and effective project management.

The role requires a Trade Test (Section 13 or 26D), N3 with relevant theory, and a Maintenance Planning Qualification with SAP PM proficiency. Proficiency in Prometheus and HSEC systems is advantageous.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Capture and maintain maintenance plans and update task lists on SAP
• Performing all planning and scheduling (Statutory and maintenance requirements)
• Develop and maintain an effective planned maintenance program
• Project management, RCA
• People management
• Plan for shutdowns and track progress
• Ordering of spares
• Compiling maintenance reports (Cost, Availability and Planning etc.)
• Creating bill of materials
• Maintain critical spares register and availability
• Coach users on PM Functions
• Assist with project administration
• Support the overall business management of the Engineering Department

About you:

• Trade Test (Section 13 or 26D)
• N3 with relevant trade theory
• Maintenance Planning Qualification
• Sound SAP (PM) Transactional Knowledge
• Prometheus System knowledge will be advantageous
• Knowledge of the HSEC System
• Good communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Able to work under pressure
• 5 Years working experience in the engineering environment
• Working experience as a maintenance artisan/supervisor required
• Experience in the engineering maintenance planning department, Snr planner experience advantageous
• Medically fit.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Project and SAP
• Medically fit
