Job summary

JVR Software is seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join the Applications Development and Integrations team across Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban. The role emphasizes building integrations with Microsoft D365 Business Central, the Hub, and various microservices.

Responsibilities include data reporting, feature design, code quality, testing, and post-deployment support, with emphasis on Laravel/Eloquent and SQL databases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial PHP development experience, with Laravel/Eloquent preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server, MySQL or similar databases.
• Experience integrating with ERP systems and APIs; familiarity with D365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, our central PHP/Laravel system (The Hub), and multiple microservices.
• Collaborate with IT and business leads to design and implement new features and improve existing systems.
• Write clean, robust, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and mentoring.
• Coordinate and lead UAT, testing, and stakeholder demonstrations; provide 2nd-line PHP support if issues arise.
