Essential Health Pharmacy - Strand is seeking a Retail Manager to optimize shopper experience and act as liaison between management and customers. You will oversee day-to-day store operations, allocate tasks, motivate staff, and ensure efficient till flow and stock control.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a management position, solid numeracy, and proficiency with MS Office, with willingness to work retail hours. This is a hands-on leadership post within a busy community pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric with Math 50% and Languages 50%.
• Minimum of 3 years in a management role with relevant work experience.
• Sound numerical skills.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsabilités

• Daily opening and/or closing of the store with the Pharmacy manager/pharmacist.
• Ensure queues flow smoothly through tills.
• Organise store operations and assign responsibilities to staff.
• Manage cash shorts/overs and float handling at POS.
• Control store budgets to minimise expenditure and improve efficiency.
• Deal with customer complaints to protect store reputation.
• Oversee stock control including receipts, invoices, returns, expired stock, and cycle counts.
• Ensure merchandising is neat and displays are professional.
• Handle staff complaints, training, and upliftment.
