Job summary

Netcare invites applications for a Pharmacy Clerk to support operational efficiency and data integrity in hospital pharmacy environments. You will handle Non-DBO orders, assist with stock receiving, capture invoices and maintain stock records while collaborating with theatre, wards, and finance teams.

The role requires sharp attention to detail, ability to multitask during peak periods, and working knowledge of SAP, Sigma, and OrderCo systems.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 certificate.
• Basic stores and stock control certificate (BSSC).
• Previous experience in medical environment is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of a pharmaceutical stock control system; SAP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Place and capture Non-DBO orders and assist with stock reception.
• Capture invoices and follow up on outstanding GRVs.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve order queries, price discrepancies, and escalations.
• Barcoding and updating stock records; assist in stock takes and reconciliations.
• Liaise with Nursing staff in wards to ensure billing accuracy before replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and Netcare policies; keep SAP, Sigma and OrderCo updated.
