Job summary

Clicks Pharmacy in South Africa seeks a Pharmacy Manager to lead the dispensary and clinic, delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care and service excellence. The role reports to the Area Manager and focuses on people management, stock control and financial targets, while ensuring SAPC compliance.

You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, and drive customer service initiatives to improve loyalty and the overall Clicks experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered pharmacist with SAPC.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience post community service year.
• Minimum 1 year people management experience.
• Registration with SAPC as the Responsible Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the dispensary and clinic to deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure accurate dispensing, including generic substitution and SAPC guidelines.
• Manage stock, shrinkage, housekeeping and administration in line with SAPC regs.
• Drive financial management to achieve dispensary and clinic targets.
• Develop staff, including learners and interns, through effective leadership.
• Schedule staff and maintain weekly time and attendance records.
• Drive customer service initiatives to enhance customer experience and clubcard participation.
• Collaborate with the clinic and healthcare aisle for a full customer offering.
• Promote the group's values and drive high performing culture across teams.
