Medipost Pharmacy in Pretoria is seeking a Pharmacist Intern to master dispensing and gain essential clinical knowledge by accurately capturing chronic prescriptions in line with Medipost guidelines and protocols.

The role emphasizes completing the SAPC internship within 365 days and involves assisting in other departments as needed, with a focus on safety, compliance, and adherence to POPI regulations.

• Must complete Internship in 365 days as per SAPC guidelines.
• Willingness to assist in other departments.
• Understand implications of errors in a pharmacy environment.
• Adhere to POPI Act regulations.
• Attend to stock take and SLA requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Accurate capturing of new prescriptions, acute and chronic medications.
• Handling of rejection lists (Resolve rejections and prioritize adding prescriptions to WIP).
• Assisting in other departments when needed.
• To comply with SAPC requirements for completing Internship in 365 days.
• HWSETA: Intern Group report and presentation.
• Assisting with Cold chain validation.
• Assisting with Operational Health and Safety.
• Understanding of the implications of making errors in a pharmacy environment.
• Adhering to the Pharmacist Intern Training Plan.
• Compliance with the POPI Act regulations.
• Attending to cluster and personal action diaries.
• Compliance to SLA requirements (completing mailbox profiles, action diaries within required timelines, out of WIP notifications).
• Attending to rejected prescriptions and templates from Blind checking as a priority.
• Compliance with Company Policies, Procedures and SOPs.
• Willingness to assist in annual stock take if requir
