Essential requirements include Grade 12 / Matric and a BPharm (4 years), plus computer literacy (MS Office). Advantageous items include holiday work during studies and familiarity with Unisolve and E-Scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree required or in final year of study.
• Grade 12 (Matric) is essential.
• Computer literacy and MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide or perform the services within the scope of a pharmacist's assistant under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist with dispensing, stock control, and labeling according to SOPs.
• Offer guidance to patients on medicine use and health information.
• Ensure accurate script interpretation and patient data capture.
• Maintain compliance with Dis-Chem policies, procedures, and safety rules.
