Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity for a Pharmacist Intern at our Bloemfontein store. The internship aims to teach all major pharmaceutical areas and promote quality lifelong learning while providing pharmaceutical care and excellent customer service.

Essential qualifications include Grade 12 and a BPharm degree (4 years). Computer literacy (MS Office) is also required, with advantageous experiences during studies such as holiday work and Esk scripting.

Qualifications

• Computer literate with MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide or perform services pertaining to the pharmacist's scope of practice under direct supervision.
• Assist with reading a prescription, preparation and labeling of medicines.
• Inform patients on correct use of medicines and promote health.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory tasks.
• Maintain patient profiles and ensure accuracy of script data.
