Responsibilities

• Provide or perform all services or acts pertaining to the scope of practice of a pharmacist's assistant under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Handle the sale of Schedule 1 to Schedule 6 medicines or scheduled substances.
• Assist with compounding, preparation and labeling of medicines according to SOPs.
• Assist with stock distribution, ordering and inventory control.
• Read and prepare prescriptions; ensure accuracy and safety with pharmacist oversight.
• Offer patient instructions and information to promote health.
