Netcare invites applications for a Pharmacist Intern to support medication dispensing and patient care within our hospital pharmacy. You will work under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist to ensure safe, cost-effective pharmaceuticals and high-quality service to patients and healthcare teams.

Your role includes advising on drug use, managing stock, and assisting with oncology medications while upholding Netcare's standards of care and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Registration with the SA Pharmacy Council is required.
• B.Pharm degree is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused service are essential.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow clear pharmacy policies.

Aufgaben

• Dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision and document accurately.
• Advise patients on drug usage, interactions, and storage.
• Assist with oncology drugs and pharmacy policies as directed by the supervisor.
• Support stock management and ensure medication safety and quality.
• Contribute to ward rounds and clinical pharmacy activities as needed.
• Provide general health information and patient education.
