Clicks Group Limited is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant QPB at Mall of The North to support dispensing and customer service in our pharmacy. You will work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist to ensure efficient pharmacy operations and adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include packing prescriptions, advising on medicine usage, filing records, stock control, and handling non-sterile compounding per SOPs.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year experience as Pharmacist Administrator / Pharmacist Assistant
• Competent in dispensing patient prescriptions within scope of practice
• Experience in a retail pharmacy
• Essential: Further Education and Training Certificate Pharmacist Assistant

Aufgaben

• Assess, prepare and pack prescriptions in line with SOPs, GPP principles and customer service standards
• Advise customers on the appropriate use of medicine
• Correctly file prescriptions according to SOPs
• Provide professional service and accurate information in line with scope of practice
• Assist with the compounding, manipulation or preparation of non-sterile or scheduled substances per formula/SOPs
• Order medicine and scheduled substances up to Schedule 6 per instruction of on-duty pharmacist
• Maintain stock levels and check expiry dates per SOPs
• Execute housekeeping and display merchandise per SOPs/Pharmacy Efficiency Principles
• Execute pharmacy-related administration and reports per scope of practice
• Adhere to SAPC ethical, legislative and regulatory requirements

Introduction

To provide customer service and dispensing support to the Pharmacy, in line with scope of practice, under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist in order to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.

Job Objectives:

• To assess, prepare and pack prescriptions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) principles and customer service standards.
• To advise customers on the appropriate use of medicine.
• To correctly file prescriptions according to SOP’s.
• To provide professional service and accurate information to customers, in line with scope of practice.
• To assist with the compounding, manipulation or preparation of non-sterile or scheduled substances according to a formula and SOP’s.
• To order medicine and scheduled substances up to and including Schedule 6, according to an instruction of the responsible pharmacist on duty.
• To maintain stock levels and check expiry dates according to SOP’s.
