Dis-Chem Pharmacies require a reputable Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic Qualified (PBQ) for their Benmore Gardens store. You will dispense medications and provide pharmaceutical expertise to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring the safe use of prescription medications.

The role covers dispensing under supervision, customer service, administration, stock control and general pharmacy operations in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant Qualification is essential.
• Registration with the SAPC is mandatory.
• Willingness to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications under direct supervision and ensure safe use.
• Provide pharmaceutical information to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and labelling of medicines.
• Process claims and manage patient profiles in the system.
• Deliver excellent customer service at the dispensary and front shop.
